Cowley is a special place. Every year, we welcome students into the Sixth Form from many schools across St Helens and further afield. We pride ourselves on the support offered to every individual that joins Cowley and truly believe that every one of our students has an amazing potential to succeed.
Cowley is a larger than average Sixth Form which means we offer a wide portfolio of courses to our students. This ranges from traditional A-levels to vocational qualifications and career-based courses. Whatever your decision, you can guarantee that you will be taught by experts in the subject who are willing to go that extra mile to ensure that you achieve your true potential.

Huge congratulations to one of our Year 13 students who has successfully passed selection at an Army Assessment Centre 👏
After years of determination and a clear goal in mind, he’s now set to join the Army after finishing his studies with us at Cowley Sixth Form, an incredible achievement!
Even more impressive… he set a candidate record during the physical assessment, completing the 2km run in an outstanding 7 minutes 13 seconds 💪🔥
This is a fantastic example of what dedication, resilience and hard work can lead to. We’re really proud to have supported him on his journey and can’t wait to see what he achieves next.

From powerful vocals to stunning staging, the performance was truly inspiring and gave our students a real insight into professional theatre at its very best. 🌟
